Azc Gilze en Rijen - kortweg azc Gilze - is sinds 1993 gevestigd op een voormalig luchtmachtterrein. Azc Gilze doet sinds 2010 gedeeltelijk dienst als procesopvanglocatie (pol). In 2011 is daar een gezinslocatie bijgekomen en sinds 2013 worden er ook weer azc-bewoners opgevangen.In Gilze koken bewoners in een centrale keuken onder begeleiding van een professionele kok. Dat is uniek voor een opvanglocatie in Nederland. In de regel koken mensen op een azc zelf.
