Frank van Driel is an artist with a distinctive signature. His portraits are pure and melodramatic. His stil lifes are influenced by the Dutch and Flemish Old Master Painters his work defenately contemporary. His latest work reveals a forward motion towards freedom and co-creation. Authenticity and pureness are key. Originally a business consultant specialized in change mananagement Frank decided days before the Millennium to pursue his love for the camera. His first analog Hasselblad camera bought in 1985 was upgraded for a very high quality digital version. He specialised in staged photography and has created a number of personal series: Dutch Delight Poetic Stills Our Daily Bread Love Potion StoneSoup Love Struck Within Ilewsiv and Framed some of which are still in progress. Frank’s photographs are frequently exhibited. They have received international acclaim and are included in the collections of many public and private art collections. He is working towards the completion of his new conceptual way of working.
