Donar is de Eredivisie Basketballclub uit Groningen. In 1951 werd de basketballclub opgericht als Donar (ontstaan uit de in 1881 opgerichte Groninger Studenten Scherm Vereniging). Sinds het seizoen 2014-2015 heet de club weer officieel Donar.
