Dutch designer/artisan Anna Treurniet creates eco-friendly bags and accessories in her workshop in an old soup factory in Nijmegen.

Her designs are inspired by her love for natural forms, colours and craftsmanship.
The leather she uses is both sustainable and of very high quality. The hides come from European cows and are tanned in the most natural way; with vegetable extracts. Zippers and jewellery components are also made in Europe. All in all this makes her collection 100% fairtrade. Also, nothing is wasted, even the smallest pieces of leather are used. They can be found in the earrings, rings and necklaces of her collection.

Besides this collection of vegetable tanned leather she also has an entirely recycled leather collection. It is made of reused leather from couches and chairs ready to be reupholstered.

With her personal touch Anna Treurniet gives all her pieces the attention to detail, function-ality and durability they deserve.
