Stop wasting time and start doing!

Hello, I’m Róża Turowska, I’m in my late twenties and I stopped wasting time in jobs which didn’t make me happy and I started my own jewellery label.

My journey started together with 2015 when I moved from Warsaw to Amsterdam, the city I was seeking for an adventure and hoping to find true myself. And.. it was easier than I thought! For a long time, I was looking for a job in corporate life and almost forgot that in one of the cardboard boxes my tools are packed. Corporates were silent but boxes not. I set up my atelier, just behind the corner of… my kitchen and started doing what I loved so much - jewellery. Don’t worry, I knew what I was doing, it’s not like I opened YouTube and started learning how to silversmith - this was much later ;) Back in Warsaw I gained knowledge from masters of goldsmithing in Wytwórnia Antidotum, so armed with skills, tools and head full designs I started making, making and making.

Here we are with a new jewellery brand called PERKA design. I named my brand after my dog - my friend Perła (means Pearl), with whom I spent half of my life.

Having a company is not only about making the jewellery, there’s also plenty of different tasks (I won’t bore you with them) and obstacles. Some of the obstacles are easier to overcome some of them not but all of them make me stronger, smarter and more creative. I will welcome all of them as long as you, my client, believe that dreams come true together with a little handcrafted piece of jewellery.
