Lidy is afgestudeerd als docent hatha yoga bij Yogaschool Ron van der Post te Nijmegen. Deze 3-jarige opleiding tot docent dynamische hatha yoga is gelieerd aan en geregistreerd bij Chandigarh Brahmrishi Yoga Training College in India.
In 2015 nam zij deel aan een yogaretraite in Radadesh, in de Ardennen, en in 2016 ging zij op studiereis naar India, naar o.a. de International Brahmrishi Ashram in Pinjore. Zij rondde met goed gevolg de Brahmrishi Yoga Training in de Himalaya af. Lidy volgt yogalessen en bijscholing bij diverse docenten.
