De Heilige Geest parochie is op 1 januari 2010 ontstaan uit een fusie van zes parochies in Zuidwest Twente, de parochies uit de plaatsen Beckum, Bentelo, Delden, Goor, Hengevelde en St. Isidorushoeve. Nu is er sprake van één parochie, één bestuur en één centraal secretariaat. Het pastorale team opereert vanuit Delden en werkt ook voor de HH. Jacobus en Johannes parochie uit Borne en De Goede Herder parochie uit Hengelo.
