Shootmedia - a studio for graphic design and information graphics, established and created in 1999 by Robert Minnaard (1974) and Paul van de Werf (1975).

Having received an academic education in fine arts and illustraion (at Academy Minerva in Groningen, 1995 - 1999), we focused on autonomous work (graphic art) and illustration assignments when we started off. Our current activities and interests, however, are expressed through the design of publications, the making of information graphics and the realisation of various projects and short campaigns. Our background and experience have helped us develop expressive skills and a sharp eye, among other things, which we now apply when we produce work. We often work together with other professionals, including photographers, website programmers, copywriters and editors, printers and lithographers.

We are not an advertising agency, and our projects are not aimed at the promotion or sale of commercial products. This doesn't mean we only work for non-profit organisations, on the contrary. The main goal of our work, either produced for profit or non-profit clients, is to inform the customer and to clarify the content. Good examples are: publications for public bodies, social annual reports, campaigns on internal operations management, visual manuals for processes in the industrial sector and service industries, as well as projects in the cultural or social field.
Besides Shootmedia we are also active in other places where our heart is. We have been producing handmade silkscreen prints for the music venue Vera for years, and we demonstrate our graphic techniques under the name Strawdogs. Furthermore, we are also members of the artist collective Owsum.
