Happy Ship is a computer animation studio based in Groningen, the Netherlands. We're doing visual effects work for major productions as well as small, independent projects.Happy Ship was founded in 2000 by Bastiaan Hooimeijer, Harry Arling and Martin Venema. Amongst othersm we produced the animated short 'Olaf, happy little cannon' (http://happyship.com/olaf/), several video-installations an a travelling interactive multimedia-play.
Next to that we also produced the 3D visual effects, together with Planet X FX, for films like ‘De Scheepsjongens van Bontekoe (2007)’, ‘Spion van Oranje’ (2009), the dutch drama series "De Geheimen Van Barslet" (2012) as well as videoprojections for de musical ‘Soldaat van Oranje’ (2011).
And of course we do our fair share of music video's, advertisements and leaders and the like.
