the first Nukuhiva store in Amsterdam opened its doors back in 2006. It was one of the first shops in Amsterdam were you can go for sustainable fairtrade clothing.Nukuhiva proved that trendy, stylish and sustainable make for a fantastic combination.
two years after the first store opened a second in Utrecht opened. you're more than welcome to browse our collection and enjoy a dellicious coffee or tea!

Floortje Dessing

Floortje Dessing (1970) was only 8 years old when she took her first trip abroad.Now thirty years and 120 countries later, Floortje can't imagine a life without traveling anymore.

During her travels she is regularly confronted with poverty and injustice. This made Floortje wonder about the change she could bring about in the world to better it. I'm a practical idealist,sending an endless amount of money and aid, that's not what i believe in. Just pay a fair price for coffee, make sure that people can provide for themselves. This is a system that actually works.I've seen it with my one eyes.
