Op vrijdag 28 maart 2014 werd boekhandel Gianotten Mutsaers feestelijk geopend. Na het faillisement van Polare gingen Marlous Mutsaers en haar zoon Ruud ervoor om de winkel te behouden voor Tilburg. Met hulp van veel Tilburgse ondernemers lukte dat en gaat de winkel verder onder de vertrouwde, maar toch nieuwe naam Gianotten Mutsaers.
